Lambton College's continued growth in research and development is being recognized nationally.
The college is ranked 11th on a list of the Top 50 Research Colleges in Canada in a publication by Research Infosource Inc.
In 2014, the college recorded a 70.3 per cent increase in research revenue, to over $5.2-million. That ranks fourth among all research colleges in Ontario.
President Judith Morris says Lambton was 17th on the list last year. She says the jump is partially due to strong collaboration with community partners.

The rankings are based on data including financial statements and money received through internal and external sources.
Lambton College's Applied Research Department was formed in 2007 and has received over $15-million in federal and provincial funding since then.
Last year, Lambton carried out 57 research projects with involvement from students, staff, co-op placements and graduates.
