Happy Halloween

The Sarnia Police Service is offering to tips to ensure everyone has a safe Halloween.

Children are reminded not to go inside peoples home or attend homes with the lights off and stay with a parent or group while trick-or-treating.

Constable Les Jones says with Halloween falling on a Saturday this year, they're prepared for it to be a busy night.

He says if you see anything suspicious contact police immediately.

Police also remind parents to ensure their children's costumes are lightweight, reflective and weather appropriate.

Motorists are also reminded to use extra caution and slow down.
