Over $21,000 worth of drugs was seized by Sarnia police during a traffic stop late last week. Vice Unit officers stopped a vehicle around 6pm Thursday on Stuart St. in the city's southend. During a search of the vehicle officers located 27 fentanyl patches, over 100 oxycodone pills, several hydromorph-contin pills, small amounts of cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana. 28-year-old Patricia Leanne Carr of Sarnia is charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was executed the following day at an apartment in the 200 block of London Rd. where officers located a small amount of marijuana and fentanyl. A 30-year-old Sarnia man is charged with two counts of possession.
