Sarnia-Lambton has its seventh major lottery winner in the past couple of months. Stanley Krawetz of Sarnia is celebrating after winning $100,000 with Encore in the December 11th Lotto Max draw. He says he felt 'cool as a cucumber' when he found out, since he's been a winner before.
“I joked with my wife and I told her I’d won $100. When she looked at the ticket she couldn’t believe the extra zeros!” says Stanley, in an Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation media release. Krawetz won $250,000 a decade ago. His most recent winning ticket was purchased at Milk Marc Variety on Murphy Rd. in Sarnia. Sarnia has had six other winners dating back to September. Most recently, Glenn MacKinnon won a second prize of nearly $72,000 in a November Lotto Max draw, and Wesley Davidson won $2-million in the Ontario 49 draw in December.
