Mayor Optimistic About 2016

As the clock ticks down on 2015, Sarnia Mayor Mike Bradley is looking forward to new developments in 2016. "Well I'm optimistic in some of the areas that there's heavy engagement right now with the community, as it relates to economic development with economic partnership with the research park," says Mayor Bradley.

"We are very much on the right track and that is receiving a lot of attention from outside of the community." He says the restoration of Centennial Park, a court decision on the ownership of General Hospital, new ownership of Bayside Mall, and positive announcements out of Chemical Valley are all bright developments on the horizon. However, Mayor Bradley says he's concerned about the addition of more managerial positions at City Hall and a higher than warranted tax increase.
