Snowmobile Trails Remain Closed

The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) is warning riders that trails are not suitable for riding just yet, despite some snow on the ground in parts of Lambton county.

OFSC Vice President Graham Snyder says they require a solid snow pack on the trails before they can be groomed and prepared for riding.

Snyder says it's not too uncommon for trails to be closed this time of year. Many in southern Ontario didn't open until mid-January last season.
