Port Huron police are searching for a suspect wanted in the attempted armed robbery of a city gas station around 10pm Tuesday evening.
Police say a man came into the Marathon Gas Station on Military St. with a long rifle and demanded cash from the attendant. The clerk was able to grab the gun which resulted in a struggle. The suspect eventually managed to get free and fled on foot with the gun in hand.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s with a light coloured beard. He was wearing a black coat, black pants, and a fur bomber style hat.
Anyone with information is asked to call Port Huron police or CAPTURE.
