Police are investigating a residential break and enter in the Corunna area that resulted in the theft of some very unique items.
Lambton OPP believes a large U-Haul rental truck was used between January 14 and January 15 to take several pieces of property from a home in the area of St. Clair Pkwy. and Keww Dr.
The OPP is asking the community to have a watchful eye for items that are extremely unique and easily identifiable.
They include:
- A Celtic Harp made in 1926, 5 ft tall, hand crafted wood frame containing several Celtic designs, and two of the Harp’s strings are red in colour.
- A Buscher Saxophone made in 1930 recently refinished in silver contained within a black hard case lined with purple cloth.
- Two Odachi Samurai Swords, 4 ft and 5 ft long, polished steel blades with Japanese print on the blade; one has an army green sheath while the other has a wood sheath.
- Three Marantz Stereo Amplifier/Receivers
- Acoustat Spectra 2200 Mirage “see- through” membrane speakers, 6 ft tall and only 3 in wide framed in “bird’s eye” maple wood.
