Kettle Point (BlackburnNews.com photo by Sue Storr)An attempted murder charge against a 32-year-old Kettle Pt. man has been dropped.
Kevin Peters was initially charged with the crime late last February. At the time, a 53-year-old Kettle Pt. man was taken to London hospital with life threatening injuries.
Social media reports said the incident happened at a home and smoke shack on West Ipperwash Rd.
The Crown Attorney confirmed Monday that charges have since been dropped as a result of Peters entering into a recognizance to keep the peace.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
