There's a new recreational opportunity in Petrolia.
Thanks to a $12,000 donation from the Rotary Club of Petrolia, Community Services Director Dave Menzies says there's a half-court basketball court in Woodland Park.
"Its a cement half court with the back board and we were able to get special lettering and a logo that recognizes the Rotary Club's 60 years in Petrolia," says Menzies.
The Rotary Club also helped fund a big solar light to illuminate the court as well as the Park at the end of Gem Ave.
