The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority has updated its flood watch. The Authority says water levels have been climbing quickly and have resulted in over-bank flooding into floodplain areas with over 50 mm (2 in) of precipitation falling in the last 48 hours. Water levels in all areas of the watershed are expected to remain extremely high especially into tomorrow in the lower reaches near Dresden and Wallaceburg. In St. Clair Township, Pretty Rd. near Stanley Rd. will be closed due to flooding. Residents are reminded to stay clear of watercourses and flooded areas.
