1,289 fish were entered in this year's Sarnia Salmon Derby which came to an end Sunday.
About 1,150 anglers participated in the Bluewater Anglers 40th annual event.

- Salmon category: Kurt Vandenbroek of London with a 17.96 lb. salmon. - Trout-Boat category: Mike Dillabough of Corunna with a 10.86 lb. rainbow trout. - Trout-Shore category: Brocke Fulkerson of Sarnia with a 15.90 lb. rainbow trout. - Lake Trout category : Wade Thomas of Bright's Grove with a 17.10 lb. lake trout. - Walleye category : Kevin Ewart of Corunna with a 9.60 lb. walleye. - Kids Big Fish winner: Elyah Brown of Petrolia with a 14.60 lb. salmon. - Ladies Day winner: Nicole McCullough of Strathroy with a 16.62 lb. lake trout. - Seniors Day winner: Bob Wettlaufer of Dashwood with a 16.32 lb. lake trout.
The official results will be released later this week following the committee meeting and the Bluewater Anglers Board of Directors Meeting on Wednesday.
