A woman was lucky to walk away without serious injury after being struck by a vehicle early Sunday morning.
Sarnia Police Detective Constable Sam Sulaiman says the pedestrian was hit by the passenger side rear-view mirror of a vehicle on Campbell St., around 2:30am.
"The driver of the vehicle was arrested a short time later and charged with impaired driving," says Sulaiman.
He says the pedestrian was cleared by EMS on scene and refused to go to the hospital.
The name of the driver, a 25-year-old Sarnia woman, has not yet been released.
