Sarnia fire truck (BlackburnNews.com file photo)An electrical fire caused an estimated $150,000 damage to a basement apartment on Kathleen Ave. in Sarnia Saturday morning.
Sarnia Fire Rescue Services responded to the address at 7am to discover smoke up to the ceiling.
The fire was quickly brought under control.
There were no injuries to firefighters or residents, who were awoken and alerted to the fire by their smoke alarm.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
