Predators Announce Several Signings

The Lambton Shores Predators have signed several players for the upcoming Greater Ontario Jr. Hockey League season.

New faces include Jake Desando, Wes Dobbin, Drew Samson, Garrett Wojcicki, Alex Cunningham, Noah Lambe and Max Griffioen.

Last year's leading scorer Ethan Sarfati (30G, 48A in 50 games) and Vaughn Treppa will return to the team.

General Manager Roop Chanderdat says they've got a good core to build on.

"We're really excited to have some older guys back, and a good group of young guys, that should help keep us in the mix," says Chanderdat. "Knowing we already have this group signed is huge, we can hopefully add a couple more pieces and we'll be in really good shape."

Former NHLer Brian Dobbin will head the coaching staff, joined behind the bench by Jason Stacey and Jake Jeffrey.

The Preds are expected to announce more player signings in the coming weeks.
