Fire bans have been lifted across Lambton County with the exception of Dawn Euphemia.
The St. Clair Township Fire Department reported that the ban had been lifted on Saturday after overnight rainfall on Friday helped to improve conditions.
"This does not mean you are allowed to just burn anything, but it means you can contact your local fire service for approvals and possible exceptions," the fire department said in a statement on Facebook.
The fire ban was issued on Wednesday due to very dry conditions that could have allowed fires to get out of hand. The ban mainly applied to large brush fires.
