A heat warning has been issued for Sarnia-Lambton, and a special weather statement remains in place.
The heat will arrive Tuesday with highs near 33 C (91 F) expected right through until Thursday.
The overnight hours will be muggy with lows only expected to drop to near 20 C (68 F), until a somewhat cooler airmass moves in Thursday night.
Wednesday and Thursday are also expected to be very warm with humidex values near 40 C (104 F) and overnight lows not dropping below 20 C. (68 F)
Some areas could get a little relief from showers or thunderstorms.
