Lambton OPP is investigating a string of commercial break and enters in Point Edward Saturday. Around 3am police responded to an alarm at a Michigan Ave. business. Police say a window had been smashed and the business was rummaged through, however nothing appeared to be missing. Just after 6am OPP were called to the 500 block of Louisa St. where the front glass door had been smashed and the business rummaged through but nothing apparently taken. Officers responded to another incident just after 9am at a business in the 500 block of Helena St. The OPP Forensic Identification Unit attended all three crime scenes and the Street Crime Unit was asked to assist. Anyone with information is asked to contact Lambton OPP or Crime Stoppers.
