Powerboat Festival Aug. 14, 2016 (BlackburnNews.com photo by Dave Dentinger)Despite stormy unsettled weather much of the weekend, thousands of spectators gathered along the Sarnia and Port Huron waterfronts for the sixth annual International Powerboat Festival.
Environment Canada's week-long heat warning ended Saturday night and conditions improved for Sunday's races that began at noon.
The festival also featured concerts Friday and Saturday nights and various other activities.
