You can serve society by strengthening yourself! For the first time, Sarnia will join 55 cities across four continents to join together in yoga to send underprivileged kids in tribal areas of Asia to school. The Art of Living Foundation was founded in 1981 by Ravi Shankar to help spread peace around the world through diverse humanitarian projects. Yogathon is being held Saturday, August 20 in Canatara Park. Tourism Sarnia Lambton's Vicki Prail hopes people from across southwestern Ontario come out. "It runs from 10am until 12:30," she says. "Representatives from the Art and Living Foundation will be on hand to lead the yoga instruction that day." It costs $25 to register and you do so online at www.theartofliving.org.
