Western Ontario Steam Threshers Reunion

It's been called the "best steam and heritage show in Canada."

The 59th annual Western Ontario Steam Threshers Reunion gets underway August 19 at the Forest Fair Grounds and continues all weekend long.

Stream Threshers Association President Karla Moffatt says one of the weekends highlights is the RAM professional Rodeo Tour.

"We have 220 cowboys and cowgirls coming in from Canada and the U.S.," says Moffatt. "They're competing for money inn barrel racing, bull riding and bronco riding. It's just like going to the Calgary Stampede at a much lower cost."

The Rodeo begins at 2pm on both Saturday and Sunday while the Canadian Cowgirls perform their precision riding at 10am Saturday and 11am Sunday.

There are antique and vintage tractor pulls, music, food and vendors.
