The Lambton Kent District School Board approved the schools request to change the name to The Nancy Swanstrom Learning Commons.
Swanstrom was tragically killed in a crash in Dawn-Euphemia Township last November.
The 55-year-old had been an educator with the board for over 25 years.
Board members at the meeting Tuesday said naming the library after her was a very fitting tribute.
