The Sarnia Sting's community tour is back for another season in conjunction with Scotiabank and Badder Bus.
The team will hold a series of events at arenas across the region again this year.
The first stop will be September 27 at the Pt. Edward Arena. There's a practice from 5pm to 7pm followed by an open skate with the team.
Sting Marketing Director Dach Hiller says the turnouts are always strong.
"This is the third season we've done it," he says. "We've had overwhelming support from the communities outside of Sarnia, and we're definitely excited to continue that. Getting our players out there is something we've included in our mandate here and certainly the right step to take."
Stops are also planned October 25 in Brooke-Alvinston, November 29 in Chatham, and January 24 at a yet to be determined location.
The Sting's season gets underway on September 21 at home to the London Knights on 103.9FM-1070AM CHOK.
