Sarnia council will consider providing an alternative location for Mayor Mike Bradley's office when it meets Monday.
Having the mayor work outside of city hall, either from his residence or from office space rented by the city elsewhere, is one of various options council directed staff to investigate during a lengthy closed door meeting October 6.
The meeting was held following the release of a workplace investigation report that found the mayor bullied and harassed four senior staff members, including the city manager.
The mayor's after-hours access card to city hall has been cancelled and all his communication with staff is to go through council intermediary Anne Marie Gillis.
Also on Monday's agenda, are options for coaching and sensitivity training on harassment, effective management techniques, and anger management for Mayor Bradley.
An amendment to the Code of Conduct to further protect staff from comments made to the media by council members is also suggested, and it's recommended council revoke Bradley's right, granted in 1992, to attend department head meetings.
Council has a special closed meeting set for 9am Monday and another at 3:30pm in advance of the regular open session at 4.
