Theatre Sarnia Breaks Box Office Record

For the first time in its 90 year history, Theatre Sarnia has broken the $100,000 mark at the box office.

The classic rock musical Rock of Ages, held at the Imperial Theatre, recently reached the milestone.

Executive Director Brian Austin Jr. says it surpassed the 2013 production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat which grossed over $86,000.

"The cast and crew from day one have been phenomenal and super supportive of the show," says Austin Jr. "They're really in it to push and make sure that the audience had a really good time. The energy in the place is like something I've never seen before. They're blowing the roof off the place."

Austin Jr. says Directors Karoline Lobsinger, and Denise Chaulk and the entire cast have done a great job.

There are four more Rock of Ages shows coming up October 26 through to October 29 at 7:30pm each night.

Tickets can be purchased at the Imperial Theatre box office on Christina St. and online at www.imperialtheatre.net.
