Young Offender Arrested

A teen is facing charges after police were called about cars and garages being rifled through early this morning in Heritage Park.

Sarnia police responded the area of Ron Bolt Dr. and Ronald Bloor Dr. around 1:45am and spotted three young men matching a description provided.

Police say the trio then ran into a backyard when the officer gave chase. A 15-year-old male was apprehended and arrested for trespassing at night and possession of stolen property.

Warrants have been requested for two other young offenders, aged 15 and 14.

Police are asking residents in the subdivision to check their property and vehicles for anything missing or discarded. Some items have been recovered.
