Lindo Dislocates Shoulder, Staubitz Suspended

The Sarnia Sting will be without Jaden Lindo for an indefinite period.

The team says the overage forward dislocated his shoulder in a fight with Liam Murray early in the first period of Saturday's 5-4 loss to Kingston.

Owner and Head Coach Derian Hatcher made the announcement on the CHOK morning show Wednesday.

"We're not sure how long he'll be out," says Hatcher. "It's just a matter of how long it takes to settle down, these are funny things but, he'll be out this weekend."

"[His shoulder] came out, I don't know to what extent but it got popped back in and we're waiting for it to settle down."

Lindo was acquired from the Owen Sound Attack September 19 in exchange for a fourth round draft pick in 2018.

The Pittsburgh Penguins draft pick has eight goals and ten points to go along with 27 penalty minutes in 20 games played this season.

In the meantime, Assistant Coach Brad Staubitz has been suspended two games for taking an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty Saturday. He'll be eligible to return to the bench Saturday night against Erie.
