Sarnia police have apprehended a second person in connection with a brazen daylight purse snatching at Northgate Shopping Plaza December 7.
The 19-year-old was arrested in London on an outstanding Sarnia warrant and charged with one count of theft under $5,000, breach of probation, and breach of recognizance.
A 20-year-old London male was tracked down by Sarnia police in the area of Rosedale and Ellwood avenues shortly after two people on bicycles took a 69-year-old woman's purse from her shopping cart as she returned to her vehicle.
