Sarnia Lambton MP Marilyn Gladu has a couple of items in her sights for the new year.
"At the top of the list would be that my palliative care private member's bill be approved so Canadians can have consistent access to palliative care," she says. "I also think we need to rethink the carbon tax. Two levels of carbon taxes are definitely going to hurt jobs. Jobs are always at the top of my wish list. I'd like to see BioAmber build their second facility in Sarnia and NOVA get their expansion here."
She also wants to improve rural internet service.
"There are so many gaps in this riding. People don't have good internet service and that's such a key in participating in a global market."
