Police Looking For Suspect After Car Hits Alvinston Home

Lambton OPP are asking for the public's help in locating the driver of a car that smashed into a house in Brooke-Alvinston early Monday morning.

Police, EMS, and Brooke-Alvinston Fire responded to the scene in the 8000-block of Lorne St. around 4am Monday.

The investigation determined the car had been traveling southbound on Morrell St., ran through a stop sign, and hit a house causing significant damage.

Police say a hydrometer and hydro stack were also damaged. No one inside the home was injured, and the car sped off before police arrived.

The investigation is ongoing, and police don't have a description of the vehicle or person involved.
