Mixed Precipitation Creates Slick Roads

Thursday morning's mixed precipitation and temperature around the freezing mark made road surfaces slick in Sarnia-Lambton.

Lambton OPP and Point Edward Fire and Rescue responded to a jackknifed tractor trailer on Hwy. 402.

Just after 9:30am, a transport leaving Canada Customs and Immigration at the Blue Water Bridge jackknifed at the Front St. overpass and hit a hydro pole. Some fuel also leaked.

No injuries have been reported.

Lambton OPP also responded to several collisions on Hwy. 402 east of Sarnia Thursday morning.

One vehicle slid into the median and another rolled in the westbound lanes near Nauvoo Rd.

Police say no injuries were reported.

The OPP are again advising motorists to adjust their driving to changing weather conditions.
