Four people are facing drug charges after the Sarnia Police Vice Unit executed a search warrant in the 700-block of Devine St. Wednesday night.
When officers entered the residence just before 9pm, they found quantities of crystal methamphetamine and hydromorphone. There were also sharp containers, and needles located throughout the home.
Constable John Sottosanti says police are also concerned about needles being discarded around the neighbourhood.
"We ask people not to touch any found syringes, but instead to contact police and we will discard them for you," says Sottosanti. "Police are also reminding the public that if they observe an increase in foot traffic to a specific residence, with people coming and going throughout the day and night, they can contact Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers with the information."
Three women, aged 35, 45, and 47, are charged with two counts each of possession of a controlled substance. They were all released on promises to appear.
A 29-year-old Inwood man is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of breaching recognizance.
