Pacers Beat Up On Blue Devils

The Point Edward Pacers had the offence going Wednesday night in a lopsided win over London, their second victory over the Blue Devils this season.

Leading 4-2 through the first period, the Pacers opened things up in the second with five goals from five different players.

Blain Adams had three goals and three assists, while Korey Conroy had a five point night with a pair of goals. That brings Conroy's totals to five goals and 13 points in three games.

Lucas Knowles finished with four assists while Corey Burr scored twice. Dawson Vautour, Logan Scott, Matt Vince and Brett Barnes also scored goals for the Pacers, who improve to 2-1 on the young season.

The Pacers out shot the Blue Devils 60-38 in the victory, Braydon Bell and Braiden Shaw split time in net for Point Edward.

Up next for the team, they are in Wallaceburg Friday then a big day at Point Edward Arena Saturday for the Pacers' Alumni day. A full day of festivities are planned at the arena, including some former Pacers in action during a pair of alumni games. To cap off the day, the Jr. B Pacers will host Welland for a 5pm start Saturday evening.
