Another season is underway at the Victoria Playhouse in Petrolia.
Artistic Director David Hogan says all six performances are distinctly Canadian to honour our country's sesquicentennial.
"There's so much Canadian talent," he says. "Songs, writers, playwrights and directors, so it's the first time we've decided to do an all Canadian lineup."
The season has kicked off with Fiddler on the Moose featuring Jesse Grandmont performing songs by well known Canadian bands and artists.
A complete playbill can be found at www.thevpp.ca.
Hogan says ticket sales so far are ahead of last year's record season with patrons able to enjoy brand new seating and other interior improvements.
