E-Bike Driver Sought Following Collision

Sarnia police are asking for the public's help in identifying the driver of an e-bike who may have been injured in a collision Sunday evening.

Constable John Sottosanti says officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at Bright and Palmerston streets just after 6:30pm. He says by the time emergency services arrived, the driver of the e-bike had left the scene.

"The driver of the e-bike is described as being a white male in his 40s, about 5'9" with a thin build and curly brown hair," says Sottosanti. "He was wearing an army green coat with a fur collar, blue jeans and bright blue shoes at the time. It's believed that the e-bike driver may have sustained minor injuries to his foot or leg. It was observed to be bleeding after the collision."

The female driver of the other vehicle was still on scene and not injured.

Anyone with information is asked to contact city police.
