Two Transportation Safety Board investigators are looking into the cause of a train derailment in Strathroy.
At 4:20am Wednesday, 13 cars of a 128-car CN Rail freight train left the tracks between Caradoc St. and Richmond St. Some tipped on their sides while others lost wheels.
No one was hurt and there was no major leakage of hazardous materials, although a small amount of petro alkylate spilled from an overturned car but was contained to the track.
Many of the cars were empty or contained paper or soybeans.
