The Town of Petrolia says water restrictions are going to remain in place until September 15, as maintenance continues at Bright's Grove's water treatment plant.
Residents have been asked to limit the use of non-essential water activities like lawn watering and car washing to between 5:30am and 10am and 7pm until 11pm on alternate days.
Homes with even numbered addresses are to use non-essential water only on even numbered days, and vice versa.
To conserve water, Petrolia In Bloom is sourcing water from an area pond to water plants in the downtown core.
