Nature Trail Closure Continues

A portion of the Howard Watson Nature Trail will be closed again this weekend as crews continue to remove invasive phragmites.

Sarnia's Manager of Parks, Forestry and Horticulture Patti Ross says some of the work was delayed this week due to weather, so crews will be working on the trail between Retford Ave. and Exmouth St. on Saturday.

Ross says that section of trail will be closed for the day at 9am.

She says there will be signs posted in the area and a spotter will be on site to protect pedestrians who inadvertently enter the trail near the work zone.
