Two Sarnia residents are charged following a drug bust Friday night at a home on Cardiff Dr.
At around 10:30pm, Sarnia Police Vice Unit and Criminal Investigations Branch officers, as well as the Chatham-Kent Canine Unit, executed a search warrant at a home in the 500-block.
A 32-year-old woman, allegedly in the garage of the home at the time, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and released on a promise to appear at a later date.
A 34-year-old man, also in the garage, was released unconditionally after further investigation.
Police say they seized 29 g of crystal methamphetamine and 23-30 mg tablets of morphine with an approximate street value of $3,600. About $250 in cash was also seized.
The occupant of the home, who returned while officers were still on scene, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
David Bagnarol, 36, was being held pending a bail hearing.
