An emergency response drill is being conducted Wednesday morning at the Suncor Sarnia refinery. Company spokesperson Jennifer Johnson says it begins at about 10am. Due to the nature of the scenario, she says Sarnia fire has been invited to take part in the drill and community members may notice fire trucks on site. The site siren will also sound. "Emergency response exercises are developed as a test of our response to potential incidents," says Johnson. "The purpose is to validate plans and allow learning in a safe environment."
