Clocks Spring Forward Sunday

Daylight Saving Time returns at 2am this Sunday.

We're reminded to turn our clocks ahead an hour when we go to bed Saturday night.

Sarnia Fire and Rescue says it's a good time to replace batteries in smoke and CO alarms.

Fire Prevention Officer Mike Otis also recommends checking the expiry on the alarms.

"Check the expiration date and it has to be less than 10-years-old," says Otis. "Once they are over 10 years old you need to replace them with a new alarm. If it doesn't have a date on it, it's over 10 years old."

Daylight Saving Time ends November 4.
