Large Helicopter Flies Over Sarnia (VIDEO)

A large twin-rotor helicopter, believed to be a Canadian Forces Chinook, attracted attention over Sarnia over the noon hour on March 15.

Chris Hadfield Airport Manager Clare Webb says the chopper was on a routine training flight and made a practice approach to the airport.

It circled a couple of times over the city before leaving the area for London.

One of the pilots reportedly was Sarnia native, Captain Matt Wookey, a St Patrick's High School graduate, who is based out of 450 Squadron in Petawawa, Ontario.
