No Injuries After Mall Mirror Falls

Large decorative mirrors at Lambton Mall are being taken down after one of them fell.

Property Manager Laura Beecroft says at around 4pm on Wednesday, one of the mirrors came down and shattered near the Hallmark store.

"We had a mirror fall off where one of our skylights is," says Beecroft. "Thankfully no one was in the area at the time. No stores are closed and it's basically business as usual at the mall right now."

Beecroft says a glass company inspected the remaining mirrors and any that were deemed questionable have already been removed.

She says the rest will be taken down in the coming days to ensure there are no further incidents.
