Don't put your compost out to the curb just yet, it won't be collected for another two weeks.
Many Sarnia homeowners took advantage of the recent more mild temperatures to clean up their yards, but that doesn't mean the city is ready to haul away your bags.
"We'd like to remind the public the compost site opens April 2nd and the actual curbside collection of these materials does not happen until the week of April 9," says Manager of Operation Services Bryan Prouse.
He says collection days are listed on the 2018 waste calendar.
If you didn't receive one, copies are available at city hall, Sarnia Public Works on Devine St. or online.
Prouse says you can also download the free "My Waste" app to access collection information and set collection reminders.
