A consultant has come up with a plan to spruce up downtown Wyoming.
Scott Allen is a partner in MHBC, an urban design, planning and landscape architectural company.
"The first part of the plan is to establish a facade and structural improvement program which would provide funds to downtown property owners to improve the facades of their commercial buildings and to complete structural improvements," says Allen. "The second program we're considering goes along with that plan. It's to develop urban design guidelines for the downtown area. The idea there is that the facade improvements would align with the general objectives of good urban design that are being developed for the downtown."
A public open house will be held Tuesday, April 24 at the Wyoming Fire Hall from 7pm until 9pm.
