This week's warm-up has a lot of area golfers itching to get out on the greens.
Point Edward's Holiday Inn Golf Club owner Gord Nimmo says their season is now underway.
"We've finally got temperatures where people can take coats off, it's a lot better than what it was," says Nimmo. "Most members at golf courses want to get as much golf in as they can to keep their fees down. So, they're out golfing every day."
The nine-hole course is spread out over 20 acres.
Nimmo says the club will remain open for the next two summers.
He says their 50-year lease with the hotel expires at the end of the 2019 season.
