Crews were called to the Bright's Grove Shoppers Drug Mart after a vehicle lost control and struck the building.
While Engine 5 was at that call, Engines 1 and 3 responded to a boater in distress.
The calls came in within minutes of each other at around 9:50am.
No injuries were reported in either incident.
A window was cracked in the collision at the drug store and there was damage to the car.
Rondeau Harbour and Wheatley Harbour will now have the funding to make infrastructure repairs and upgrades.
