Two people were injured when a classic car crashed in Kimball Township, Michigan Sunday afternoon.
St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon says a 77-year-old Kimball Township man was driving his 1955 Chevrolet, northbound on Wadhams Rd. just before 5pm, when he started to turn onto Horseshoe Trail, and apparently lost consciousness.
He says the car left the road and hit a utility pole.
The driver and his passenger, a 53-year-old woman from Jeddo, Michigan, were taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Alcohol is not believed to have played a role in the crash.
