A St. Clair Township man is charged in connection with a single-vehicle crash on Friday morning.
Lambton OPP say it happened on Stanley Line near Indian Creek Rd. around 6:45am.
Police say a black 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche had struck a utility pole and a witness told police that the male driver disappeared into a rural bush lot.
The West Region OPP Emergency Response Team and members of the OPP Canine Unit began a search for the man but were unable to locate him.
Around 12:30am Saturday, officers located the man at his home.
The 41-year-old was charged with failing to remain at the scene and failing to report an accident.
