A Lambton Shores man is facing several charges after being stopped at a RIDE checkpoint by Lambton OPP around 9pm Friday night.
The OPP allege a man tried unsuccessfully to avoid the stop, but was arrested on four counts of driving while disqualified.
After a search, police also laid other charges.
Scott William Anderson, 50, is charged with possession of a narcotic for the purpose of trafficking, possessing a firearm while prohibited (replica), and possession of forged documents.
He was being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
